Just in: EFCC Detains 4 Over Obasanjo’s $16b Power Projects


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has kept four people in connection to its examination of the$16 billion power extends under the President Olusegun Obasanjo system.

JessyNaija News discovered that the two high ranking representatives of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), the organization which directed the execution of the venture were among the four people kept by the counter unite office.

The captures flagged the start of the test of the humongous consumption during the Obasanjo administration, with little outcomes to appear.

The NDPHC authorities captured are the Head of Finance, Marvel Emefiele and Head of Compensation Eze M. C. Odigbo. They are relied upon to represent the N850 million reserved as pay to networks where parts of the power task were sited.

Others in EFCC’s net are Managing Director of Pivot Engineering Mr. Richard Ayibiowu and the Managing Director of Chris Ejik Nigeria Limited Mr. Christain Ejik Imoka.

Analysts are on the trail 18 additional suspects including two previous governors, a previous executive of a bank and a previous director of a carrier.
